Anybody got some good SCUM tips?

Just started playing and the lack of decent tutorial has me stumped by the creators Croatian logic.
I had to google to find out: take off mask to eat. And after posting this I am gonna google how to pee as it's that time in game.
Other than that Croatian logic it's a fun game.

Playing on an east coast rp server. Way more fun than ark and i might like it better than dayz. The day before hits EA on December 7th so hopefully it will be good too.
I'm teaching myself mostly. Trying to avoid ever getting exhausted and resting as soon as it starts to prevent me from having to waste so much time resting later.
Im headed to A2 to try and set up my final base and then i want to start trying farming.
The RP server is legit. You earn discord cash and can have supplies delivered to you or use a taxi service.

Haven’t played in awhile but I have around 700 hours of playtime. To me the more complex they attempted to make the game the more tedious it became. My squad was a top squad on one of the most popular US servers for a long time. I still keep up with the game and will hop on every now and then.
Still love the game and could give you some in-depth tips but those depend on your preferred play style.
Are you playing multiplayer or single?
Are you solo or with a group?
Are you playing it as a survivalist or more into quick pvp?
The game offers the ability to play it how you like but there’s definitely a system to getting established and passed the tedious early game stuff that can be frustrating
