Busy, not blurry. It’s subjective, but I feel like the remake tries too hard to show off the PS5’s capabilities at the expense of atmosphere.
I’ve played every one of these games from the days of King’s Field and Shadow Tower and it’s my opinion that the remake fails to capture the sou… essence of the original.
That being said I would’ve been camped out for a PS5 had they included the Northern Limit; I don’t care if it’s basically Ariamis.

Ok I think I might have reached frick this level with this game.
I’ve been farming level 4 for souls to upgrade. Obviously dying there a good bit. I noticed my “world” going dark there and I understand what all that means. My farming got a little harder with the red guys showing up.
So I’m finally pretty leveled up to where I was gonna go ahead and take out the boss at the end of 4.1. Died a few times and my next play through I notice a real player looking dude in red standing at that first arch. Dude charges me and one swipe kills me. Now he’s there every spawn.
What the frick man
