All of these videos are great. But I'm gonna tell you, when I built mine last year (first one in 7 years), the cable management video was the one I should have watched before. I tore my rig apart 5 days after I had it up because I wanted to what this video suggested.

BTW, don't do the 4" cable ties from Home Depot or Lowes. They are overpriced. If you have a Harbor Freight, get them and your small angle cutters there. If not, good ole Walmart sells the small ties in 50 and 100 count packs too. Gotta look in the tools section, not the electronics.

ETA: I know I replied to Josh, but this was for caro81. One last tip from an amateur builder, don't skimp on the case. Air flow will make a difference. I bought a budget case, wasn't terrible. But I ended up changing it 6-7 months later and I don't regret it one bit. It made a big difference.

Do yourself a favor and skip cable ties all together for velcro ties

I used a combo. But, I did have trouble getting the velcro ties through tighter spaces. Maybe I wasn't patient enough.

As a giant caveat, I didn't link a single video that would help with creating a parts list, which is the actual hard part. And the reason I didn't is because they go out of date damned near immediately. Any first time builders should absolutely post a thread and let us help with the parts list. Please don't try to do that on your own
