Children and adults alike are going to enjoy the new G.I. Joe video game coming from Hasbro. The new game titled, ‘G.I. Joe Wrath of Cobra‘ brings back vibes of classic side scrolling beat em up video games from the 1980s. The characters appear in their traditional 80s style uniforms, but this game will be fun for all ages. As of this writing the game will be made available on the Nintendo Switch platform in 2024.

Would love an XCOM style G.I. Joe game with permadeath (for licensing purposes you'd probably have to call it perma-captured).
It can literally mimic the XCOM games, but instead of aliens taking over the world it would be Cobra. Have randomly generated maps like XCOM, but the key story point maps can take place in locations directly from the cartoon (like Cobras funhouse).
There would be a full campaign for both Joe and Cobra.
Cut scenes in-between missions would be in the style & voice acting of the 80s cartoon.
It's almost too easy.

Yup
I love that they’re using the 80s cartoon/comic look
