Picked up the Woot special on a refurb, looks new btw.

Can’t get it to connect to 5ghz, put the password in and it kicks back to the password field. Connect to 2.4ghz without issue.

Any tips? I know I had to make a change under networking w/ the PS5 but don’t see anything to change on the Xbox.

I don’t have an Xbox, but it’s an interesting problem, and I found this super fricky possible solution, so figured I would post it: LINK

So I was having the same issue , but I was doing some research and found that you need to go into your home wifi settings and change your channel bandwidth to 40 MHz or greater. I did this and my issue was resolved and was able to connect to my 5G wifi no problem. Hope this helps yall!!!

This is the answer. You are exactly right you have to change your setting on your 5G in your router to 40 MHz or greater. Restart your router, then go in to the Xbox to advance settings and clear the DNS and restart your Xbox. When you go to set up your connection again it should show 5G. This is what worked for me.
