Looking to see if anyone has any recommendations, good or bad, on a wine fridge. Thinking about one of the full sized, pretty much the size of a full refrigerator, that can hold at least 100 bottles. Also as a side note, thinking about keeping it inside the house as opposed to the garage since it’s so hot year round down in south LA. Figured it would be easier on the fridge keeping the wines cool.

I have a EuroCave Premiere M Wine Cellar and it holds about 150 bottles (mine is full). Keeps a constant temperature and I have never had any problems. It is also very quiet. I have had it for over 6 years and just have to change the air filter each year. Would highly recommend it. It holds about $30,000 of wine for me (not a subtle brag), so I have to have confidence in it. Of course, I keep it inside.

The eurocaves are incredibly nice. Hold a bunch off bottles. But really expensive. Really expensive to work on as well. I would recommend just about anything True makes for refrigeration. It does look restauraty ,if you have it inside especially. Look for a auction that has restaurants that have gone out of business. Plenty of those to go around. Try webstraunt.com; I've bought a bunch of things from them. Your local restaurant supply place could point you in a good direction as well. They might know someone that wants to sell off things as well.

$30,000?

What is that? LIke 5,000 bottles of Boon's Farm? How do you store enough pig's feet to go with that many bottles? By calculations, that would be about 789 five gallon jars of pickled sow hooves.

We recently added a dry bar in our house and I was looking for a split type fridge for wine and beer. Found this company and decided to go with them. Their largest wine cooler holds 160 bottles and is free standing. The split cooler we have has been a very reliable, quiet and does not put out any noticeable heat. newair

Never, ever put a wine fridge in a garage. That's a recipe for disaster if you lose power.

Without a cellar, depending on how long you lose power, kind of a disaster either way.

Bigger cities have dedicated wine storage places, insured with generator backups.

The garage is always going to be hot and more stress on the wine fridge.
