So , I don’t know where you live but speaking for myself in Georgia. There is a local wine cellar that focuses on small wineries, both international and US. If you have some place similar, they may be able to point you in the right direction.
I like Napa and Paso Robles Cabs and good ones are easy to find in most liquor stores. They are mainly fruit forward. My other favorite every day wine is a Cotes du Rhône (French) that is $15 a bottle. Super affordable and great wine.
Try Sams Club too. They normally have $20-$50 bottles regularly that are fantastic.
