Just signed up for Home Chef, the recipes sound absolutely awesome, not super hippyish like some of the other ones.
40 Dollars in credits starting off as well.
If you want to try it out post your email and I'll send u the referral getting u 30 dollars in credits and me some too.
You can cancel at anytime as well, so anyone wanting to try it out, the first week u will pay 30 dollars for 3 meals 2 servings each, and still have a 10 dollar credit leftover.

Used Hello Fresh for a few weeks. Quality ingredients and good food, but I need something with less prep work/time for my week night meals

So instead of going to the store and picking up something fresh to cook at home I need to make other plans for keeping my girlish figure intact.
Do a google search for local meal prep companies, lots of cities have them. Around the same price as Blue Apron, but fresher food

This makes common sense though, they'd have to ship on Sunday overnight to arrive on Monday which obviously isn't possible with some forms of delivery.
I never said it wasn't perfectly reasonable, I wouldn't expect them to pack boxes on Sunday and ship overnight, but the fact is their business model relies on busy people. Mon, Tues, and Wed are the prime nights for me to cook meals at home, if I can't count on the product to be available to me then it just isn't something I can continue spending money on. They can be the greatest, easiest to prepare meals in the world but two out of every three rots in my fridge over the weekend then it's just not realistic.

I have used blue apron recently, overall I think the recipes are good. The negatives would be that sometimes the prep/cook time is just too long and the portions can be very small. I have had no issues other than that.
