Whiskey smoker

A friend of mine enjoys good whiskey/bourbon. Would someone like that get a benefit from a whiskey smoker?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a whiskey smoker, but I am running with the idea you are referring to one of those cocktail smokers that sits on top the glass and burns the smoke into the glass. If this is the case, then I would say no if your friend is strictly a whiskey drinker. If he likes to make cocktails then it certainly could be a decent gift. I have a friend who loves to use one of these, but me personally I am hit or miss. It's a very specialized gift.

They have nosing kits for whiskey drinkers that are pretty nice gifts if he's into that. Glencairns are a great gift, too. They also have 1L to 3L barrels to add your own white dog or whiskey too and age it. I know some guys who have fun with it.l blending stuff.
