re: What’s the best restaurant for catfish around Monroe/West Monroe?

I’d go to the Mohawk. But I go there every time I make my once a ten year pilgrimage home. Probably the first restaurant I remember going in as a kid with Daddy. That dusty stuff behind the bar, bathroom kind of outside, cracked quary tile. Same black dudes since 70s bringing oysters out. God only knows how many beers my father, my two brothers and I consumed in that bar.
