The idea of absolutely not one wit of care and pride from the kitchen staff plays a major role in the product at the table side.

It speaks volumes about RL cuisine when the biscuits are cited more often than any menu item offered.
Which is why I commented on having biscuits and beer at Red Lobster.

RL was named the numero uno seafood place in Arkansas years ago, I wonder if they still lay claim to the title.
I don't have any idea about what Arkansas considers its best seafood restaurant; however, I could tell you what some of the best BBQ places in the state are since that's what we Arkies know and do best.
I didn't eat at a Red Lobster restaurant until I was in college. Growing up in southern AR in close proximity to Louisiana, when we wanted seafood, we just ate there and at a couple of small, local, hole-in-the-wall type places which served LA style seafood cuisine. Also, having a grandmother from the MS Gulf Coast, we were taught the difference between quality and not-so-great seafood. She was rather picky about the establishments we dined and where she purchased her fish, shrimp, etc. which was always LA or MS.
I don't have anything against Red Lobster, but I'm sure it isn't the best seafood restaurant in Arkansas. It certainly isn't considered that by us Arkies who've grown up on LA and coastal MS seafood.

The North LR Red Lobster was the number one restaurant in the state by sales volume for years. Doesn't make it the best, just the most popular.
I don't eat at RL anymore, but I did growing up. I grew up on the AR/OK border, and there were no other seafood restaurants. RL was it.
In most cities in AR, often your seafood options are either fried catfish (debatable whether that is "seafood"), Red Lobster, or a higher end restaurant (like SO, in Little Rock). Little Rock has a few more options (Cajun's, Flying Fish), but I don't think people in LA (used to the freshest seafood) would find those much more palatable than RL. I don't blame people in AR for going to RL, but anyone going to one that lives a couple of hours from the coast is wasting their money, IMO.

Dang, I wasn't aware anyone else knew that place existed except folks in the ArkLaMiss area!

I liked channel 10, but was partial to KNOE channel 8. We had to get our news from NE LA. Little Rock didn't/doesn't think we're part of Arky. North LA sort of adopted us.

Hey, Miz Piggy!

And I agree 100%.

we take in the s ar. folks cause of proximity and customs and the s la. folks when they're under attack from nature. When they leave with clothes, bellys full and hospitality given, they go home and call us rednecks and bad names.

Truth.
Need to remind them of this next time nature attacks!

It is hard to believe. I guess it's just hard to produce a uniform product on such a large scale. Plus our palates are a bit spoiled when it comes to seafood.
The reason it's so hard to believe is because it's unbelievable, and breaks ever rule of a food chain.
Prepping everything

"Cooking" everything to order.

Hell, you're hard pressed to find higher end restaurants being able to pull that off, much less a nation chain like Red Lobster. That's absurd.
I guess this all gets back down to exactly what you consider "cooking" to mean, putting shite together that other people cooked for you to make a meal, or cooking the food, which chains won't allow you that kind of flexibility because it will come out different. The whole concept of chains is to remove the human element from the equation.

I've eaten many a meal at the Andy's in Crossett in my day. I've walked a many a mile in the Felsenthal Refuge around Pine Island all the way up to the Saline River.

People talk about the free bread at Commander's Palace too
And the Hush Puppies at Ralph and Kacoo's
There are a lot places where people talk up the free shite that is ancillary to the menu offerings
Pretty much the ONLY thing you hear about Drago's is the oysters. Does that mean that everything else sucks by default?

Drag your balls thru a bed of crushed glass then shove a hot poker in your arse. You'll enjoy that more than the food at red lobster.

Cutting veg is not prepping everything, is not a saucier making sauces from scratch, making stock, etc. it's cutting veg. Yeah, I did that at Sicily's pizza parlor in HS when loading up the salad bar.

Of course not
But you outright denying that it happens just shows how much of an insufferable count you actually are
You don't have the foggiest idea of what goes on inside of those kitchens other than the fake imaginary shite that you constantly spew out when you're doing your usual martyr shite.
