A few years ago when wendy's first starting serving chicken strips, they had 4 sauces. One of them was Chipotle Dipping Sauce and it was VERY good.
Does anyone remember this and might have a clone recipe for it?
Looked a bit like this, was mayo based:

Reminds me of the chipotle mayonnaise at Zea.

I make a chipotle-mayonnaise sauce for my fish tacos. Mix about 1 cup of mayonnaise with a tsp of adobo sauce from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Just use the sauce, not the actual peppers. And be careful, adobo is super spicy. I mix in a little and taste to check the heat level. Then add a little more if needed.
That picture has more red coloring than my suace. Maybe they put a tomato in a blender and then added it to the sauce. They also may have hydrated a dried red pepper (remove seeds before hand) (new mexico or red hatch), put in blender, then added to the sauce.
