Walla Walla Wines

I am visiting my cousin in Walla Walla, WA, and they have over 140 wineries in Walla Walla county - population of about 60K.
It is really a booming industry, and the Walla Walla airport has over 30 tasting rooms. Downtown Walla Walla has at least a dozen tasting rooms that I saw.
Has anybody been to Walla Walla for a wine vacation? If so, can you recommend a few wineries to look for as I pick up some bottles to take home?
This has got to be an under the radar wine destination, I would think.
