Morning! I've been making quite a bit of broths and stocks lately and am looking for recs on a quality vaccum sealer. Zip lock bags don't seem to do a very good job. Will also be freezing meats and other items

Thanks

You'll need a chamber vac to do liquids. I have been using a vacmaster 112 for a few years and I'm satisfied with the results.

You don’t “need” a chamber for liquids but it’s a lot easier to use one for them. OP can freeze the liquid first in something then pop out the block and vac that for freezing.

The vacMaster is a damn good unit and if you can afford it I would say go for it.
If you would like to save some coin check out the Sinbo sealers. It uses the cheap bags like the vacmaster and other chamber units. I buy them by the case.
I have had the model without the liquids canister for over 15 years and I love it.
There is a learning curve with it. I use a strip of paper towel in the bag for some things to act as a channel.

I would order another Sinbo within an hour it fails today.
