No mention of brisket. Those of us from LA don’t need to go to TX for crawfish or ribs or chicken. We go for the TX brisket and the different sausage. Anything cooked in TX can and usually is better in LA. Except brisket.

A top 5 BBQ place in the state, located right smack in the fricking middle of the state’s largest city is sold out of popular menu items by 2pm on a Saturday…I’m shocked.

Ok so they sell it, they are just out. BBQ is different than other foods. It’s not like they can just whip you up some beef ribs. You should have went for lunch time and they probably would have had some for you.

BBQ is known as an industry to be such that they make a certain amount, and when it’s gone it’s gone. The best of the best (Franklin, Truth, etc.) run out fast because people know this and get there early.
You did not, and you lost out. Tough shite. This is a you problem, not a Truth problem.
