I haven't been in the BR one but I've been in others. It's pretty good for people who like to gather rather than cook. Some of the prepacked meals are good. And of course the hummus and cookie butter.

I will treat it like I do new restaurants and let it die down. It's a must because unfortunately one of the things I drive is an F350 Dually crew cab with an 8' bed.

Oh it's more than two spots. But I'm not a pretender. I use it on the farm.

Do you slow down to 5 mph to go over speed bumps.

Mission Street IPA on its Way
Trader Joe’s grocery store has a private label agreement with Firestone Walker, that provides the specialty grocery store with Fat Weasel Ale, Jumping Cow Ale, and the GABF Award Winning Mission Street label. Because Firestone Walker is so good at making beers of the Pale variety, they are adding Mission Street IPA, which will be shipping in the next 3 to 4 weeks. Here is the label that you can look forward to seeing on your Trader Joe’s shelf. According to Firestone Walker, this will be the last private label brew they make for the specialty grocery store for a while.

unibroue out of quebec does their seasonal vintage ale. it just came out last week and is worth picking up. it tastes very much like the unibroue la terrible, but for half the cost. unibroue has also done their providential belgian golden ale (or something to that effect) which tastes a bit like a less effervescent la fin du monde.

and in response to the rest of the thread, tj's is not the kind of place you go to replace your ordinary grocery store. it's good for picking up random things (gathering, like another poster said). we typically get cheese, yogurt, wine, coffee peanut butter, snacks, and packaged stuff for lunches from trader joe's. everything else from the regular grocery store or farmer's markets. and i don't see many hipsters at the trader joe's that i go to - mostly milfs and old people/retirees.
