I don't go to Houston or The Woodlands unless I am forced to go, so your supply is safe

I hear you. After making the commute from up there into the city (47 miles) for 5 years, I don't blame you. And I think there are another million people there than when I was doing that 15-20 years ago.

I am 90+ miles and nearly 2 hours from the Woodlands and 100+ from Downtown Houston. They are easy enough drives, but I start getting impatient with traffic when I catch all three lights in my little town

Dean, thought this might interest you.

(San Francisco, CA) – While the Mikkeller team has hinted at this for weeks, the official-ish announcement came on Wednesday: Mikkeller Bar SF will open later this year at 34 Mason Street in, you guessed it, San Francisco. You can look at a handful of construction photos on the bar’s Facebook page.

Specialty Beer Bar currently under construction is located on the ground floor of a 1907 Victorian building at 34 Mason Street San Francisco. While technically on the edge of the Tenderloin this establishment is conveniently located 1 block from Powell BART station and two blocks from Union Square.

We will feature 40 taps from the best breweries in the world, 2 cask handles, specialized bottle selection and exclusive house beers. All meticulously chosen, well cared for and properly served.

Our cellar will host a “sour room” where you will find the best Lambic and sour beer produced in the world.

We are building a full kitchen and will feature great food prepared to pair well with our beer.

It is our goal to create the finest Beer Bar in the world!

Meanwhile Mikkel’s brother, Jeppe of Evil Twin Brewing, is opening a bar in New York City called Tørst in March.
