Jambalaya is the main course for most tailgates, but what is your go to side or dish go along with it? Looking for some ideas to cook or put together out on the Parade Grounds this season.

Mealy iceberg lettuce with cheap, high-vinegar Italian dressing and a damp yeast roll served in a styrofoam box with the wet plastic utensil set bag on top of everything.

My go to sides are usually a good homemade vinegary, mayonasy cole slaw and Coors Lights.

Make the white beans a week ahead. Freeze them. Use a warning tray to defrost and heat up on site. Garlic bread/French bread.

Basic salad with ranch so I can accidentally get some of the dressing mixed into the jambalaya

I've almost always made white beans with jambalaya. Then add a roll or sliced bread and you have a damn good tailgating meal.
