I was walking through our Aldi for the first time and saw they had steaks. Anyone ever eaten one of their steaks? Any good?

Got a skirt steak from Aldi and made carne asada with it about a month ago. Was very very impressed. It turned out fantastic. Super tender and juicy. Recommended it to my brother in law who had the same experience.

I meant to do a thread on this a couple months back, but yeah, their steaks are legit. I picked up a 17 oz. ribeye for $12 one night, and it was pretty great for $12. Nice marbeling. Great taste. Perfect amount for my wife and I to split. Have I had better? For sure. Have I paid more for worse. Most definitely.

I grabbed a strip and a ribeye. They were both about 1.5" thick. They were both around $12-$13 and a hair over a pound. This is the strip. Very good.
