I'll probably get a lot of heat for this, but some of the best pizza I've ever had was from Domino's in the 80's. Back then, I lived in that big apartment complex on Highland Rd. that stretched from State St to Roosevelt. I don't remember the name.
Back then, there was a 30 minute guaranty or it was free. I had it made, because they always came to the Roosevelt side, which is where my apartment was located, but there was a locked gate there. So the driver had to drive all the way around and search for my apartment.
A pepperoni pizza only cost about $7 or $8 back then. But the sauce was the best pizza sauce I ever had. The crust was great and the cheese was cheese.
I rarely paid for a pizza but I LOVED them.
These days I can't stomach a Domino's pizza. Hell, even a Papa John's pizza sucks these days.

These were 14" pizzas that I didn't pay for because they were free.

Roma Pizza in Prairieville is a treasure.

Dominos pan pizza is my go-to cheap pizza. Pepperoni & mushroom or bacon & pineapple.
As far as Roma Pizza, I love it but it’s greasy as hell and a little pricy
