I get Rouses and Winn-Dixie weekly sales sent to my e-mail since I no longer get a paper with the pull-out ad.

Some of the upcoming week's specials are:

Rump Roast for $2.99 a lb.
Value Pack Sirloin Pork Chops for $.97 a lb.
Boneless pork tenderloins in the 2-pack for $2.49 a lb.
Split Chicken Breasts at $1.88 a lb.
Boneless N.Y Strip Steaks (Choice) for $9.99 a lb.
Lg. Cantaloupe or Honeydew melons 2/$4.00

Sorry, these prices are all at Rouses, not Winn-Dixie.

Not a fan of when they put ribs on sale and they are sold all hacked up in three bone pieces with enough pieces to make a full rack. I like to buy ribs full rack and not cut up into pieces. I've seen that on multiple occasions.

Agreed. I have also seen ribs on sale at Rouse's that look like they came from a mutant.

I agree. That is why I only shop their sale items but do pick up their baguettes to use to make homemade croutons for the house.

They sell the baguettes individually for $1.25 each where Rouses and Costco are both in the $3 each range. The only thing you have to be aware of is W-D sells 2 kinds of baguettes, Chiabatta style and multi-grain style and I opt for the Chiabatta style.

Not going to argue with that point. You just have to shop the sales and bite the bullet on something that you need so you don't have to drive to another store that has it cheaper. Right now WD has Gwaltney Bacon for $1.99. I am going Friday to pickup 4 packs. It's not the worst bacon. Manda has got that covered. But Rouse's has gotten expensive. Their sale price is the regular price 6 months ago...
