Saw this in the 225 dining edition email. Friday starting at five.
Seems like I've heard Southern's mentioned on here before. Worth going too? Assume it will be family friendly?

I've had their chicken sandwich a few times now. It's probably my favorite across the board as far as flavor, texture, size, etc.
And while I do love it, I'm just reminded of how Popeye's can put out damn good comparable sandwich for less than 1/2 or even 1/3rd of the price of most of these pop-ups, food trucks, and restaurants.

They also won the "Best Fried Chicken Sandwich" at the NOLA fried chicken festival this year. They are a pop up chicken sandwich group that mainly operate out of random bars in NOLA.

Had it for first time recently and was not impressed by their shaking on spices to reach the requested heat level. Just made it way too salty. Better to order it without any spice added.
