Being vinegar is the 4th ingredient and HFCS is the second, I would guarantee sour taste.
Also, you shouldn't eat anything with HFCS.

Totally not the same thing but I had a can of Lays French Onion Dip in my pantry with a "best by" date of Feb 2015 on it and I ate it last week with nary a problem.

Best By date are just propaganda put out by the manufacturers to make you throw food out and buy more product.
