I’m responsible for bringing a ham for Turkey Day and I’m thinking about smoking one. Any advice, is spiraled easier?

TIA

I just took a photo of my recipe. Let me upload it. I usually stock up after the holidays on spiral hams. I make them for bereavement meals.

Apple wood is best in my opinion.

I smoke whole bone-in hams. If that's to much ham for the occasion have them cut it into the butt portion/shank portion. Wrap and freeze one of them. You get the 'center slices' that they remove, and sell for a premium. May save some cash as well.
