Why don't seafood distributors do this? Why do you have to buy the whole sack? I never understood this. Why can't you just buy how much you want 10, 20, ect...like every other fresh seafood.

Who would buy 5 lbs of live, uncooked crawfish?

Are you talking about less that standard sack amount (5,10,20,25)?

Because where I get crawfish they almost always break sacks for me and give me what I want but it's always for more than a sack.

Posted a few minutes before this thread looking for places that split sacks. Tony's is one and charges .10 more per lb to split. Wife and I boil some for just us frequently. She prefers how I boil them. We usually get 10-12 though for just us.
