Self Rising flour vs AP

Making Yorkshire pudding tomorrow and the recipe calls for AP flour. What would SR flour do to the batter? I know it has baking powder in it, other than that I don't know.

What does it do differently? Thanks for the recipe.

Self rising flour is pretty much AP flour with baking powder and/or baking soda added.
Self rising flour will make the product rise while baking - like quick bread or soda bread. Brownies use AP flour. If Self Rising flour is used, the brownies will be more like cake (less dense).
It will make a pudding. It won't be like the recipe intended, but you likely are not certain what the original recipe was intended to be.
If the recipe calls for AP flour and baking powder or baking soda. then if will be fine to use Self Rising flour if you are leaving out the soda or baking powder.

I doubt anyone herr has made yorkshire pudding with self rising flour. Most people aren't gonna go to all that trouble of roasting a nice piece of meat, save the precious drippings, and potentially mess up the texture of the puddings by saving at most $3 without the proper flour.
Most likely, it'll rise more maybe? It'll be a different texture most certainly, and the crumb will be off.
