The wife and I went this evening for dinner. Our first time there, we were not disappointed. I enjoy City Pork even though I don't really consider that bbq.

BBQ shrimp were different yet good. The pepper jack grits with the sauce from the shrimp was very good. We both had steaks, both were satisfied. It seemed to have a richer taste tahn steaks I've had other places (I very rarely order steak out anymore), manager told me they wet age them for 21 days.

Anyway, it was nice to go to a place in BR that actually serves good food and has a cool atmosphere.

I don’t think they’re marketing themselves as BBQ

We went for lunch one weekend after they first opened and we had 6 adults and we all enjoyed our food. The best part were the apple pie nachos for dessert, those things were legit

I wanted to try those but the wife was in the mood for ice cream. We will be going back though and trying a couple of other dishes.

I had the duck+butterbeans plus a side of cornbread as suggested by the waiter, and was pretty impressed.
