To my surprise the kid wanted a roast beef sandwich. Sure, no problem. Off to Rouses I go and get some Chisesi’s…at $14/lb! For someone that rarely buys deli meat this was quite an eye opener. Zuppardo’s has prime beef tenderloin on sale this week for the same price. Should have made my own.

He paid more than $14 total , you got him!

Or he can cut some steaks and freeze them and have a better quality meal than some iridescent colored roast beef for a total of four white bread sandwiches.

Yep…buy a meat slicer and vacuum sealer and it will pay for itself very quickly

You can buy 2 rotisserie chickens for the price of a pound of deli meat.

I'm confused. Deli smoked turkey is always more expensive than organic air chilled turkey in the store. How is this different? Roast beef isn't made from tenderloin. I can buy a $4 a lb tri tip and make my own

What? I’m literally asking how big they were - I need to pick some up for thanksgiving and that’s a good price.
