Agreed with this post.
I’d recommend Ribera Del Duero wines to him. You can find them anywhere, they are much much much much better value than a lot of the shite Cabs recommended in this thread (no offense to anyone)
Emilio Moro is a very readily available producer from there, can be found at many stores. The Finca Resalso from them is 20ish dollars and way better than its price point.
Tempranillo from there are so full of flavor. They slap you in the face.

New Orleans. I don’t know independent wine shops in Laffy but I’m sure there is at least one.
