Recipe for Rack of Lamb?

I would like to do this on the grill/smoker anyone got a good recipe & I'm taking it you cook basically like a steak?

Try this. Lamb isn't really suited for the grill, because you need pretty close temperature control, and lamb is fatty and will cause flare ups. If you insist, use a thermometer to avoid overcooking it.

Sous vide followed by a cast iron sear is how I've done it for years. I normally just hit it with salt, pepper, and a spring of rosemary on each side of the rack. Sam's is where I've always bought racks of lamb.

Rack of lamb is great on the grill! I do it with charcoal and wood chunks on side opposite the lamb with cover arranged with smoke holes above the lamb. Control the temp below 300F and cook/smoke for 30 minutes or so. We soak in soy and tabasco sauce prior. Garlic and harissa powder is all we season with. Sometimes make a horseradish/sour cream sauce.
