Anyone try this stuff? My wife saw this at a store here in Savannah. Never would have considered using a jarred sauce but was thinking of trying it to make some quick crawfish empanadas for an appetizer this weekend. I have heard the Cajun Power brand etouffee is really good for what it is but have never heard this brand mentioned.

The couple photos online that people posted using it look decent, but I haven't had it.

Etouffee is the easiest Louisiana dish to me, IMO. Once you have your crawfish, its just flour, butter, and trinity.. which I always have on hand. Little bit of stock if you need it.

And it doesn't cook for a long time like gumbo or something.

I am wanting to try it more out of curiosity than anything. I think I Will pick up a jar and just see how it tastes. I usually use Prejean's etouffe recipe which is a little more labor intensive than most but is really good.
