Quick and Easy Salsa

I’ll make salsa once or twice a month for get togethers, work, or to snack on at the house. This is a quick, easy way to make it
Ingredients:
2 large (28oz) cans of tomatoes. I use crushed and whole (cut up the whole) to get the consistency I like. You can used diced, crushed, whole, whatever you like.
2 bunches of green onions (roughly 2 cups chopped)
1 bunch cilantro to taste.
Pickled jalapeños to taste. I use 4-5tbs diced and add 3-4tbs of the juice.
Garlic salt to taste. I use 2-3tsp.
Chop all ingredients and combine in a large bowl. Stir well.
The cilantro is my favorite part of salsa. Finely chop to help release the oils and aroma. I use only the leaves. I can’t abide cilantro stems in my salsa, but if it doesn’t bother you it’s easier to cut them up and use them too. I end up using 1/3-1/2 of a bunch.
I like my salsa chunky, but if you aren’t that type of person you can combine all ingredients in a blender to get the consistency you like.
Salsa is like gumbo and chili. It’s always better the day after you make it.

Looks good, always used fresh jalapeños, I like the idea of using the liquid
I add can of drained corn & a can of drained black beans to my salsa & eat on it all week with sandwiches or quesadillas
