Popularity of Vegetarian food in Houston, TX

I stole this from Facebook tonight. It is a photo of the vegetarian section in a Houston, Texas grocery during the stripping of shelves as result of the hurricane. I showed it to my wife and laughed, "They were hungry, but not that hungry."

I buy tofu fairly regularly but it is not on my hurricane prep list :)

Tofu food is the big suck. Not saying food with tofu is.

Yeah. I use it for hot and sour soup. I could eat that stuff till it comes out of my ears.

I really like tofu in Thai - mostly Pad Thai. That might be about it since we don't go out for Indian and my cooking skill for other tofu dishes and most Indian dishes is somewhat limited.
