Yeah, but when competing against a fried lobster, fried softshell crab, great roast beef, etc, etc, po-boy, I just don't see where WOW can even be in the discussion.

Does anyone have any details about what they served and if it was a certain category for what they are "best of"?

Well, that doesn't seem all that bad. Just seems strange seeing their name in the fest.

But like others said, if it's good, eat it.

They won the best poboy at a poboy festival. The fact they won is pretty incredible.

To soften the blow though, I assume this isn't something on their regular menu. Do many places offer unique things they they never sell outside of the festival?

What would have never happened in BR? Po Boy fest? Youre right, they would only have a celebration of food in New Orleans

Right, cause thats what I said. I meant it would only be in the supposed chain dining kingdom of New Orleans, not in BR where there are NO buffalo wild wings, Applebees, TGI Fridays, etc

I meant between New Orleans and BR..a major food related festival (ie seafood fest, po boy fest) would be in New Orleans. Its a shame the dining scene in our states capital is such garbage

We have 6 big ones every year. They just happen to coincide around football games.
