IMHO ... Pluckers is about running into some problems company wide. It took them forever to open one in Houston and everyone was so excited when it happened. Unfortunately the building has deteriorated (standing water in bathrooms), the service is bad and the crowd is generally less than desirable. Now they opened up a second on out by my office ... same thing.

I think they are expanding too quickly and are having trouble finding good management and provdidng consistency in their product. All of the ones in Dallas seem great. The one on Nicholson in BR is good. But some of them suck.

They have no reason not to expand though because they are packed at every location every time I go. You can't even get into the two in Houston on a major sports day unless you have a small group that can sit at the bar. However I think their food will continue to suffer.
