The rumor of Philly Me Up’s demise has been greatly exaggerated. Ate there today after reading this thread. We all have our own opinions, but mine is that they make the best Philly sandwich around.
Still is
The same owner/manager has run the place for 17 years. Always their front and center, just like today.
They’re the same size. You can see all the bread at the counter. It’s shipped in from Philly bakery. Some pieces are longer than others. It’s bread.
I’ve never gotten bad service there
I get notes of freshly chopped ribeye

Agreed with your statement that it seems about the same to me as it always has been. It's been about 4-5 months since I've eaten there, but a regular philly and fries was almost hard for me to finish last time I went.

i haven't seen that red haired lady there in years. and the guy, guessing her son? wasn't there the last few times i went.
well, this is just false. I wish i had a pic of a sandwich from 5-6 years ago to compare.
