Pellets in a Eletric smoker

Wouldn't recommend it. Pellets usually require direct ignition to light and stay lit. If you want to use pellets in an electric, get an amazein pellet tray. It's $20 and you light it with a torch and let it burn for a few minutes before blowing it out and putting it in the cabinet. Gives you 12hr of consistent smoke.

Hell yes you can. I use an AMNPS in a Masterbuilt 30. Works great. Go to smokingmeatforums they have an entire board on this

I have the A MAZE N pellet smoker to use in my masterbuilt smoker.


It uses pellets of course, but you don’t use the chip tray that the smoker has built in.
