I do one of two things. After the boil, soak in ice cold water. Another thing I've tried that has worked was boil it with a tablespoon of baking soda.

I move the pot under the kitchen faucet and run cold water into the hot pot to slowly change to warm water. Peel them under running warm water. No problem. For fresh eggs it will not be easy.

Roll a boiled egg on a hard service until the shell is nothing but tiny cracks all over. It then falls off every time. I don’t see the issue.

Instant Pot will make even fresh yard eggs easy(ier) to peel.
