Pasta Maker Recommendations?

I'm thinking about getting my dad a pasta maker for Christmas. He loves to cook Italian food, and I think he would get some enjoyment out of making his own pasta. Do you good people of the food board have any recommendations for a good, reliable, easy pasta maker?
ETA: He does not have a KitchenAid mixer, so an attachment would not work.

He does not have a KitchenAid mixer. I meant to include that info in the OP!
