I'm going on Saturday...I'll post how it is. And I love the fact that so many people won't step foot in there...lowers the wait for those who will.

There's a flag. They will still bring you stuff if you ask them to.
wait, so the flag is like an off the menu "in the know" kind of thing?
flag for food = i will go.
no flag = no way in hell.

I will probably go on sunday. I love the place, but understand why some dont like it. It is great when you want to just stuff yourself.

Went today...the place was crazy packed.
Huge number of wait staff, very attentive. Yes, there is a flag, and you can use it for anything....sopaipillas, drinks, chips/salsa, and food.
All the old dishes were there. Many different enchiladas...the Tex/Mex were great, as were the sour creme and beef. Didn't really like the cheese...too many onions.
Flautas and taquitos were excellent. Chimichanga was a little dry, but I only got one and it might have been just that one.
Didn't get any tacos; Tamales were very good.
Good selection of deserts, and also a good selection of fruit (but didn't get any!).
Overall, a very good lunch.
There are some people who have been saying they'd never step foot in...fine. Don't. Easier for me to get in. Pancho's is not marketed as/not expected to be/compete with places like La Carretta's or Superior. But, like I will be going to both of those places, I will also return to Pancho's.
(Everyone attending the Grand Opening today got a button, which is good for 10% off anytime in the future.)

I too made the mistake of going to Pancho's this past Saturday. Let me start by saying that Pancho's has lost all of it's "Piccadilly type feel" by going to an all you can eat buffet. The food was comparable to CiCi's. Everything tasted like it was served directly from the can. Taco Bell is a much better option in my opinion. My wife and I both felt sick after eating that slop. I will not be returning to what used to be one of my favorite places growing up.
