Not sure I would go to Monkey Hill. I don't really even like the place to begin with, but that's not the best place to watch a game in my opinion. It's not a "sports bar" type of atmosphere. Maybe try Half Moon? It's technically in the Lower Garden District, but I don't think it'll be too crowded.

Prytania Bar is never crowded. It's right by Touro. Garden District Pub down Mag by Juan's shouldn't be too crazy either.

Just about every bar in NOLA has a TV.
Here's a link to cheap drinks in NOLA.
LINK

Crescent City Brewhouse is probably the best place in the FQ to watch sports. They have plenty of TV's on second floor.

Crescent City Brewhouse @ 527 Decatur St., New Orleans, LA. 504 - 522 - 0571.

Johnny White's is a true sports bar. Turtle Bay is a sports bar also. Chateau Moanet Voila Bar is a sports bar. Broussard's has TV's in their bar and from time to time they have specials to eat and watch the game. Antoine's Herme's Bar has food and TV's.

Johnny White's Sports Bar @ 720 Bourbon St., New Orleans, LA 504 - 524 - 4909.

Three Legged Dog is a “dive” that’s open 24/7 that gets good reviews. They have the largest screens in the city and 2/1 beer. It’s also dog friendly.
Three Legged Dog @ 400 Burgundy Street, New Orleans, LA 504 - 412 - 8335.

Go to the corner of Bienville and Decatur. Club Decatur or Ryan's Irish Pub have TV's but neither is a sports bar. Both are great places to watch games with a lot of big screen TV's. Duck into one and then the other and decide which one your like.
MRB Bar and Grill has outdoor seating and allows kids 18/21. There’s good bar food and plenty of TV’s. It’s a real dive joint.
Mississippi River Bottom @ 515 St Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 504 – 222 – 5672.
LINK
Call the Carousel Bar at The Monteleone I think they have TV's. It's smoke free. Coop's Place is also smoke free and has plenty of TV's.

Carousel Bar @ Hotel Monteleone| @ 214 Royal St., New Orleans, LA. 504 - 523 - 3341.

Markey's Bar @ 640 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA 504 - 943 - 0785.

For future reference the best sports bar in NOLA is Finn McCool's in Mid City. Take the Canal Street Streetcar to S Jefferson Parkway. Get off and walk 3 blocks N to Telemachus Street. Turn left by Grace Episcopal Church and walk 3 blocks to Banks Street. Finn McCool's is on the right.

Also for future reference. Take a cab Uptown to Cooter Brown's for another one of the best sports bar's and fine fresh oysters. Take the St. Charles Street Streetcar to S Carrollton. Get off and walk a block to your left towards the river. Ye Old College Inn is also a good place to watch the game and get good food and cold drinks. St. Charles Tavern is open 24/7 and they just remodeled the joint. They have a nice HH from 2/6 every day for 2/1 well drinks and $1.25 drafts.
