New BBQ Place In Baker

After being flooded out, I am taking a new route to work each day. I am seeing a new startup BBQ place in Baker called Jim's Smokehouse. This on Hwy 19. Its hidden away in a small shopping center - look for the bright blue Fastenal Store Awning next door. Since the wife was looking the other way Saturday, I did a Search and Destroy there. The Brisket was nothing remarkable. The sauce was Cattleman's - not worth using. But the ribs were worth the trip. Nice bark on the outside, tender smoked meat on the inside. Just did one trip, so I couldn't try the sausage or chicken. Ya'll might want to put this on your radar for a sample. I thought the ribs a cut above what I have been getting in BR.
