I entered my name in a contest to get a chance to purchase one bottle of many choices....
I was lucky and was given such opportunity.
I chose Pappy Van Winkle 15 .
I am not an expensive Bourbon drinker so I may sell it and use the money to purchase a new weapon I want.
I see crazy prices....
Any idea of what it is worth in the market? (Dallas)
Are there different versions which may affect value?
Thanks Merry Christmas to all.

1500 if you want to move it quickly, 2000 is you want to hold out for higher end value. You most likely have a 2022 or 2023 bottle, no real difference in value on newer releases. There is a laser code on the bottom of the bottle that will tell you.

It looks to be about a 2,000.00 bottle of bourbon.

Singlemalt on our board may know. I will ask him to come over and chime in.

So you put in on a raffle for a bourbon you never intended to drink, but rather want to sell it at a profit to buy a weapon?

You suck, dude. No better than the people running bots that buy tons of tickets to concerts, or sporting events, and turn them for profits.

Go be jealous somewhere else. You weren't gonna win anyway.

Yeah, if you want to flip it $1500 quick or 2k but it may take a while. I would not sell it. I would sit on it cause it will gain value. Just keep it away from light stored upright and in a place where temps don’t change much.

Since you know the vintage is 2023, just sit on it and see what the whisky review community thinks on youtube and online reviews. If it is an above average vintage like I posted it could easily appreciate in the next 2-3 years.
