Thanks for the info. This is actually for a Valentines dinner for my wife (I'm not a big sushi fan).

Any of these places take reservations?

when are you going? i cant imagine that anywhere that takes reservations actually has an opening thursday friday or saturday night this weekend due to valentines day.

if youc ant get somewhere by 4 or 5, you will be at least an hour wait at any restaurant friday night.

i think tigerham is right with his recommendation of ordering to go and doing wine at home.

Bang for the buck, portion size, overall food quality - it's hard to beat Sakura on Johnston St.
