Went to it to show off our Cigars not even knowing what to expect.
Competition among Commercial Brewers and Home brewers and all beer FREE.

One really fun event. Nice, very well informed and willing to teach group.

Will go again next year, as a matter of fact, once I get the facts I will post it. If there is enough interest, I will organize a group for it.

if you may be interested, email me events@williamscigars.com put LSU on subject and when the 2019 is announced, I will let you know the details.
Get some friends together.

BTW, working on a bus to the LSU-MIAMI game which I will announce soon.
let me know if you may interest on that as well.

A hotel by the airport is a great location if you have to catch an early flight.

Obviously, you have never organized events with hotels.

There are TABC restrictions and hotel restrictions to work around, both with the smoking and the alcohol...not to mention the "pricing".

I do a "Salsa Music" annual event where I book over 280 room nights in one weekend and trust me, it is still very hard to deal with hotels. They do not want to commit their ballroom in the HOPE a BIG Wedding shows up.

It is also primarily a REGIONAL event where people from all of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana come and most drive.... some from CA and the other states as well, but to a lesser number.

I'm just saying a hotel is a shitty location for a beer event and that is why I never go to that one. There are some other homebrew festivals I Dallas in much more appealing locations.

This event had a club set up with the free beer being dispensed. Overhead LED boards described each beer being poured for the day. The there was the ball room later on with all the free beer again.
Friday: Commercial Breweries
Saturday: Homebrews

It was a great event, sorry you had a bad experience somewhere. This was a lot of fun....and the weather is not a factor.
