Bacco Grill in Washington Plaza needs to be top of your list. Then you have Genusa's on Park.

Very good. Not your standard pasta joint. The chef/owner is a Commander's trained NOLA native that decided to step up his game and roll the dice in Mecca. Got to admire his ambition.

Genusas is severely overrated. Way overpriced. Best meal in Monroe now is Cascio's Tavern on the river. They have good I-talian dishes but the apps and Snapper Tony are awesome.
