It's been a long time since I last posted. I hope everyone is well and ready for the holidays.

I would like to get a quality meat grinder. Recommendations?

Thanks

What all are you planning on grinding, how much at a time, and how often?

What will you be using it for? Sausage making or general meat grinding?
I have a Cabela's 3/4 hp that I love but it's big. I had a smaller Kitchner from Northern Tool but it crapped out this morning so I'll suggest staying away from that one.

I'll use it occasionally to grid beef for special hamburgers and sausages. I hope to learn other recipes.

If that is the case a cheap Oster will likely work just fine for you.

If you use it enough to wear it out which is unlikely in your application, go buy a Hobart next time around.
