I thought flooding and wind damage from Katrina took the severn location down.

Outback is next door. The former Luther’s fell in disrepair as an Asian Buffet and was torn down just a few years ago. The property is one the only developable chain restaurant sites in Metairie. It is currently for lease. I would love to see Chuy’s go there.

Ah yes, East Buffett. Looks like it started off strong but went downhill after a few years judging from the reviews over time.

From what I recall the building was built up probably 2 ft or so off the ground. I don’t think it flooded but quite possibly was Katrina damaged. I’m not sure if Luther’s was there pre Katrina and split because of it but the building still stood and operated after as East Buffet.
