Got down Thursday night and started with cocktails on the rooftop at Hot Tin. Great place, will do it again. Ate downstairs at Jack Rose, was pretty hammered but it was a cool place. Had the Veal Chop, it was good but not my favorite.
Did Breakfast Friday Morning at Horn's, It's always good and it didn't disappoint.
For lunch tried the Cuban place on Dumaine, Molito(?). Cuban, a Cuban coffee and a Mojito, place was great. Cool atmosphere as well.
Dinner, ate at Muriel's. Can't really give a review because it was a set menu but it was average. Part of the reason is because it was a set menu.
Saturday had a late start and ended up at Johnny's and ordered the Surf and Turf, fricking awesome sandwich, thanks TD for the tip.
Had another Cuban for a late lunch and a late dinner at Bayona, small plates only. The goat cheese toast with the mushrooms is one of my favorait dishes in the NO, also loved the sweet breads.
Tried French Toast this morning on the way out. The Skirt Steak was kinda nasty but the oyster toast was incredible. I'll go back but no more steak for me.
Really wanted to try Toups but didn't get a chance. Still the best eating city in the country.
