My fat arse had dinner for about the 50th time at LaReyna Restaurant on perkins just past siegen going south. Incredible Honduran food. OPen for about 15 years.

Saw a post in the meat pie thread about empanadas. This place has Pastelitos which are essentially the same. Top notch.

I had the Puerco Guisado which is pork chunks in this incredible red gravy sauce. My equally as fat GF had the mole chicken. Best molle in town. All their offering are authentic and delicious. Best fish tacos in town. Place opens early too. Broken english spoken and the owner is in house doing the cooking.

They actually have a website too
www.lareynarestaurant.com

Check it out if you are in the area.
No pics so this thread my suck to some. I eat my food and don't have time for picture taking.

I have a couple more spots to introduce you guys to so stay tuned.

I eat lunch there once a month. I typically get the Puerco Guisado with a pupusa to start. It's always delicious.

Normally, you might get accused of being affiliated with the joint with this kind of post and your post count, but since the post isn't in Spanish, I'd be hesitant to accuse you.

That place is much more bilingual than the typical taqueria around town.

Yes I suspected I might get accused of being the owner but I assure I am not. As you say this is not in spanish and the owner is a sweet honduran woman and yes IWHI.

Yes I may have misled just a bit. They are quite Bi, much more than Lamornita and the like. The owner speaks english fairly well but some of the staff is no speaky all the way.
